I own a 06 BF xr6 NA and recently had an accident in it and damaged a few things. I can get a cheap BA XT for parts to fix it and was wondering what BA parts if any fit straight into a BF. The main parts i am asking about are:
- diff
- rear cradle
- suspension

The rear cradle is different, the rest you should be able to use.
The BF cradle is better but, the the BA one WILL fit.

does it require some modding to get the cradle in? and using ba parts will it still line up properly on the bf?

It will fit straight in but it uses different bushes in them to locate the Diff. The BA type are metal outer type and take some time to change whereas the BF had a bush using a plastic outer shell. They are supposed to be a better type but still wear. The only advantage for the BF type is that they are easier to change.
