anyone come across rear brake hoses bursting on ba s. Is it true there is or was a recall on them?

Haven't heard of them bursting but there was a recall on the rear brake lines.
I think the problem was they thought the exhaust would heat up the brake fluid & reduce the effectiveness of the rear brakes so they re-routed them.
Should still be a current recall mate check with a dealer.

the brake hose recall is applicable on ba and some bf sedans contact your Ford dealer asap if you own one. The replacement hoses are longer and have spring support due to them bursting at the top of the hose.
