But as far as i'm concerned, this car will be history. It annoys me that they use 2 pinion diffs, hollow aluminium shafts, s**t brake discs etc... f**k cheap bastards, the more you find out, the more you realise how they stooge people to save money. I'll check out the BF's nicko but I think they might be a bit dear at the moment
if you cant buy a bf dont by a b series at all Seriously once the kms are on them they are stuffed, so if you plan on keeping it for 2 or 3 years go for it if its low kms. But you will do a diff or driveshafts inthe turbo also Id look at something else - hindsights a 20/20

Wait till after March 08 as the Orion will be released and the BF II will drop in resale price. For all the ute owners all the FPV's come with a 2 piece driveshaft over the 3 3/4" alloy for obvious reasons. So if you have a modded B series ute follow through with the driveline as FPV has done. |

i don't need to read it i see it in real life.
all i am trying to relay is that an air bag and a bit of steel bar don't mean you aint going to die in an accident. and all the problems the ea had are now starting or have happened in the ef and el's. so they are not better mechanicly than any other vehicle of the same era. except holdens.

And we are all saying your logic is equivalent to that of a crack addict.
Its like me saying if I'm riding a bike, and smack into a truck, the helmet isn't going to save me, so they are useless. They are better mechanically!!! They have more power, better suspension pickup points and a stiffer chassis. If that isn't better mechanically then what the f**k is?

i bet i do it more regularly than you do. how many calls does your brigade attend each year? and i can say that airbags do save lives and ive been to probably 100+ accidents THIS YEAR where that is the case |

Air bags and seat belts can only do so much but I don't understand why you are so negetive Naughtyfalcon as anything is an improvment as to have no safety fitted.
You have to see impovements as you are now not having to pick up bodies ejected from cars or babies that had no capsuals to hold them. You can never stop stupidity but I thik you should give up working in this job as it effects you to much and stay away from the pipe and drink as you talk so much s**t when you do it.

My old BA cab chassis work ute (4 months old at the time) the plastic silver looking door grip things had fallen off , BF ironed the interior out? My boss wasn't too happy about the plastic being broken, maybe it wasn't my fault
How do the xr6 turbo cars go with build quality?

My old mans BA Mk2 xr6t died 2 times on him, drivin along and then engine just drops revs and stalls and the car wouldn't start for 30min. It was somthin to do with a coil, but it happend twice. His car nevers sees over 3500rpm aswell

Does anyone know if it is at all possible to replace the dif myself if I can pick 1 up? I havent dropped it into bluepower yet as i'm not sure if I can afford to.
