i have a 04 ba xr6 and the sports shift doesn't work its doesn't display anything on the dash when you push it across, everything else works fine i have pulled all of the shifter surround off but can't see anything wrong any ideas??

Sounds like the PCB that is under that silver top cover. It is a problem now and again and needs to be replaced. If you are not so sure, take it to an Auto Electrician and he can see if it is burnt out.

I have just started having the same issue with my 07 BF XR6 4SPEED.
Sports mode doesn't work and even worse it goes into sports mode in drive getting me stuck in 1st gear. Have to pull over and turn car off to reset the computer. |
