The 5 speeds are noisey, a b**ch the change and like to leak at the tail shaft seal

so the 6 speed is definatly worth the extra $? whata bout the tailshafts? are they the same from the manuals and autos?

IIRC you need to know someone at ford to get the manual convo done, as you have to reflash the ECU to manual configuration, and then go through tuning etc again, and it is a BIG $$$ job. a T56 is a few thou alone

If i had the cash for a 6 speed i would have got one. But you just need to work out how much you want to spend and what you want it for

i would stick with a 4 speed auto before i put a T5 in a BA, especially a V8 one. Soo many customers complain about driveline clunks in T5'd BA's its not funny, and its not because anything is worn
