Can some one tell me where I might get a strut brace for a BA?
Seen one on eBay but guy wouldn't email back as to where he got it! Goes from strut to strut over engine & bolts onto existing strut bolts?

no one sells them as the front of a falcon is not macpherson strut, therefor there is no real benefit from having one.
do a search, its been talked about many times before |

do a search, its been talked about many times before Not going to argue with you about whether it's needed or not, or whether there is any benifit. but Nolathane do one to suit the earlier E-series - doesn't fit EF/L due to the BBM, perhaps they make one for the BA but? I would of thought it would have the same issue with the BBM but. As for whether it provides any benifit, Whiteline have found there strut brace for the E-series (goes from the engine mount to the upper arm mount) to be effective. |

yeah, i know about the whiteline upper arm mounts.
they supposedly are so effective they have snapped the engine mount bolts clean out and had to soften it up!! 
but that is different from a "strut" brace. i didnt know about the EA-ED ones though from nolathane. |

cause its not connecting the struts to each other. a strut brace links from one suspension strut to the other via the top of the strut itself.
that upper link brace doesnt come near the suspension strut, but instead connects the mounting point for the upper suspension arms to the chassis. same result, ie: wheel alignment will change less due to flexing of upper suspension mount, its just that in one system the strut is the upper suspension mount, and one the upper a arm is the up suspension mount |
