as for your question.
yes your speedo will be out and shift point will be all screwed up. eg it will hit its rev limiter before shifting gears and hold gears to long as its expecting a certain speed reading to determine when to change gear.

only fix for this is in the ecu calibration which in ba needs to be done via flash tuner..
