Hi can any 1 reccommend which diff ratio I should upgrade to?
And how much torque or kw can I gain? Cheers.

the lower the range of gearing in the diff the quicker th car can accelorate, but then you lower the top speed of every gear aswell,

thats right.
basically makeing better use of the power you have.

think of it like this. swing a long stick and a short stick. you dont make more power with either one but you swing the small stick faster.

Technically the longer stick would hit harder as it produces more g-force at the end? Or maybe I'm pulling s**t out of my a** rofl

but the taller gears ( longer stick ) will hit higher speed in each gear.

Lol.
Damn good after tune. Bpt done a excellent job. Picked up about 25hp right thru the revs and an extra bout 100nm. Peak only went up about 10 hp but peak means nothing on these motors.

It's all about the mid range power. and HP is nothing at the end of the day, it's how much torque the b**ch has :twisted:

You think you will break 13's with 600nm of torque behind you now?

yea man. done a preety much 14 flat on std tune.
now with a stage 2 morestall convertor + tune.. gonna be somwer in the mid 13s i hope.

Ok I gotcha, so do u reckon for example my first gear will change from 80 ks to say 60? And 100 in second ? Top speed may only be 170 ish lol that's weird. Think I'll pass on this mod n do engine work. Cheers for the info ..
