Hey all,
Just about to start a manual conversion from a BTR to a t5 on my 2005 BA mk2. Have picked up everything i need for the conversion including a manual ECU (with abs) and loom. I’ve heard that because I’m dropping in a new ECU that I may need to get it flash tuned at Ford in order for the car to start due to the immobiliser not matching. Would I be able to either: a) call out a locksmith to install or match a new key to the new ECU b) find a way to bypass the immobilser to get the car running Cheers |

Cheers Ps. with mine i have done the PCM/ICC & keys, with the ICC being done so far on mine two maybe three times & twice on hers. have also checked three ICC's & then made two ICC's [working bits] into one good working unit. |

Cheers for the help man.
Any idea how much/how long it’d take ford to get it sorted? |

Cheers |
