ive got a vibration coming from the EB. it feels like the front but im not 100% sure...i took it to Pedders and they gave it a 28 point check, and they said the vibration was coming from the tail shaft, so i f**k off the s**t alloy shaft which had been scrapin on the tranny tunnel and put a steel one in, replaced the springs, shocks and lower trailing arm bushes but theres still a vibration....(tail shaft no longer scrapes)...anyone hav any suggestions????

i thought of that, but i got my spare and rotated it around the whole car to try and see if it was one of the wheels but the vibration was still there...

Might be more than one wheel needs balancing, using your spare your only replacing one at a time, an out of balance wheel may still be on the car.

Wheel balance only $10 per wheel, well worth it.

Vibration may also be engine mount/s

yeah i might get all the wheels balanced just to make sure...If its not the wheels then at least i can eliminate that ...i just cant see why the wheels would just go out of balance....i dont think its the engine mounts coz the vibration increases with the speed of the car, not the revs, and its still there when i turn the engine off and let the car role whilst doing 80kms or so..

it stays the same when braking, just slows down as the car slows down, but doesnt get worse (as it would if a disc were f**k)

the vibration's still there when i turn the car off at 80ks and let it roll, so it cant be the harmoonic balancer can it.... if it was tehe harmonic balancer the vibration would increase with engine revs not speed....

My eb2 does the same thing after i lowered it with superlows. does it get worse with more people in the back? Mine does it mainly at 70 - 90 kmh due to diff pinion angle being up the s**t after lowering vehicle.Everyone i know who owns a eb gets this vibe after lowering.

no but if i hold it at 5500rpm in first gear doin 80ks or so the vibration will be the same as if i was in 4th gear doin the same speed at 1500rpms...get it now....

Might sound stupid but put a pair of standard springs in the rear and see if it goes away. Would only take half hour and is worth a try. If not could be diff.
