Check the drain hole in the tail shaft, make sure the tail shaft doesn't have any water in it.

well you boys must be behind with the times AU's and BA's have drain hole, had the vib problem with my AU, and was told to check the drain hole at the diff end of the tale shaft and it did have some water in it which caused the problem.

It's not that WE are behind the times but the car is an E series NOT an AU or BA

Drain hole omg!!! steel shafts dont have them, alloy have them on the front weld yoke to release pressure when being welded. after shaft has been balanced the hole is plugged. even if the hole hasnt been plugged very little if any water will ener the shaft.
with the vibration problem if its worse on decaleration its certainly uni joints and more likely to be the rear.

Electroboy i should know what im talking about as im a supervisor/quality officer at the factory that makes the driveshafts for ford.......
The vent hole stops the aluminuim weld frow blowing out as the shafts builds up pressure during welding.
Yes i have driven in water but i dont use my car as a boat!!
