What do you guys and girls reckon...?
Go for Bendix Advance or Bendix Ultimate brake pads? What are the pros and cons of each? My car is an EB 6 cyl sedan, on stock rotors, King Low springs and 225 rubber. I dont drive the thing super hard or fast, just cruisy, and a lot of highway driving. Cheers. |

I put Bendix Advance all round on my EB with slotted rotors, and I didn't like the feel of them.
One advantage was that they left barely any dust at all. I could go months and still have clean wheels. Next time I'm going ultimate. |

i have ultimates on the front of one of my ef's, and they kill the greenstuffs i had on there for feel.
i havent noticed a great deal of brake dust off them either

yeah i prefer ultimates.
I went to the shop to get some replacement pads and asked for ultimates. The sales guy said "nah you don't want ultimates unless your a racer. Go the advance - same feel etc but leaves no dust" Ok i thought and got them. Oh my god they where crap!! Worst pads I have ever put in my car. Next day got some ultimates and they are just so much better, but the trade off is the amount of brake dust you get... Its massive if your a hard braker! |

I put XE callipers on the XY and used Bendix Performax with DBA Gold drilled and slotted discs and am quite happy with the combo
vik...the icing on the cake were the braided lines

I put ultimates and DBA slotted rotors on the front of my ef at the start of the year. driven about 10 thousand K. pads are about half worn. Cant complain other wise. the pedal feels awesome.
Whenever some one else drives my car that is the first thing they comment on is how well it pulls up. Cheers Andrew. |

i had ultilmates with slotted rotors and they wore the rotors out very quick,i had dba slotted rotors and the advance and they were pretty good and a lot less dust
