Hi All,

Just looking for some feedback on best springs for my car. I have been advised King Springs but have read in some threads that Lovells is the way to go.

Pretty much getting standard height front and low on the rear to level the car and wanting a nice comfy, firm ride and my heart is set on BOGE shocks.

Go lows front, supers rear. it'll be around xr height, except the back will be more inline with the front.

So you guys use King springs as well?

I had King Springs in my EF XR8 but with different shocks and they seemed alright but hard to say with different shocks.

KYB shocks and 2" lowered springs.
I've had mine for almost a year and the car sits at a perfect level and is very comfortable.

Done some research and come up with this;

Whiteline Front 360mm Rear 360mm

King Springs Front 365mm Rear 370mm

Lovells Front 365mm Rear 370mm

Pedders Front 590mm Rear 565mm aka Front 380mm Rear 355mm

Pedders measure from the bottem of the rim to gaurd, now if you were to measure from hub to gaurd like everyone else does you will have to take away 210mm.

Dosent seem right with the Pedders but i took off the hub cap and measured it and came up 210mm from bottom of rim to middle of rim???

Can someone confirm

mine has king super lows with koni shocks
It was my daily driver until i started the rebuild. ride was a little bumpy but handled really well. your ground clearance is as good as your exhaust installation. Mine runs 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way and never scraped on anything much at all

Thats what im trying to get my head around as there are alot of speed humbs in Sydney inner west LOL And some drive ways are kinda steap and i scrape it here and there.

I measured my car and it seems that the springs have sagged and there sopposed to be Front 395mm and Rear 410mm but mine is Front 380mm and Rear 395.

So obviously it has sagged abit all around by 15mm, so would another 15mm drop would be that bad? plus probably a little more as ive heared springs settle in???

From pm a few fm members seems that Whitelines and Lovells are the way to go.

There is a wait of 4 weeks for whiteline springs when i enquired with them but there hub to gaurd is 360mm apposed to 365mm with the lovells.

Dont want to go too low as i dont want the car to scrap too much.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM :?
