Even if you get a bigger pad area you will still end up with many warped rotors if you keep the stock size.

opoint in putted slotted rotors on ir you are getting a bigger caliper as the matching rotos for the bigger caliper will most likely be bigger.
Just have a look at the brembos on a bf.... the rotors are 355mm compaired to the much smaller standard XT rotor.

is that for a standard bf or an xr?
because im pretty sure the standards have pbr brake calipers not brembos cheers

thats looking at an F6 to an XT....
the PBR brakes from what i remember need a bigger rotor..... dont quote me on that though. mums partner put a full PBR set on his V8 XT and had to change the rotors. Just call PBR and ask them, they will more than likely know more about it than anyone on here

I have EL futura wagon and decided to up grade the brake to improve better stopping distant however front brake caliper is fine does most of the stopping work but rear caliper was doing less work reason has small bore piston same with rear rotor is made for go kart anyway so what l have done is fitting 2 rear BA rotor and bigger bore piston caliper and large Toyota brake pad everything is bolt on gave me better stopping distant less half at any speed (for two years or near 180.000 km )than standard setup ever better than GT el Tickford setup big front brake but tiny rear rotor and pad bloody stupid . l can post picture if anyone ask

It would be much easier to lock the rear wheels etc. BenJ
