im asking for help as i have run my self around in circles tring to figure this out.

my setup,
-EA T5 Box
-EL 3.45 LSD
-16" 225/55 wheel/tyre

sitting next to a mates au with him doing 110, my car is showing 135, problem is i dont know what speedo sender i have, or what one i need to fix this.

how do i check what sender i have, and what sender will set this right again, would getting a police dash fix it (would it have enough calibration percent?)

the speedo calc guide does not cater for this combo from what ive gathered.

I've heard that you can just go to ford and quote that you have an ea t5 with a 3:45 diff and they can give you the correct part.

Not entirely sure, but you should be right with the tyre size.

If not, there is a formular to work it out, but i'm no mathmatician.

Box type doesn't matter, it doesn't use input shaft speed only output.
The speedo calc will work fine.
It'll be either greay or black gear off the top of my head.

ah cheers steady, will double chek and get one tomorrow

update: the black speedo sender was the fix, took under two mins to swap it. gearbox had the pink sender in it.

speedo is now perfect

Looked like the grey speedo gear was the one I needed, but the black one is a little more accurate.

EA T5 - going from 2.92:1 LSD to 3.45.. Black speedo gear.
