hey all
i have tried like 6 times put 5 liters of brake fluid and 2 new master cylinders and still i get a s**t pedal feel . any suggestions cheers jarrod

have you been bleeding the furthest away brake and work your way to the closest one? also my experience with both my ef's and el's have been s**t pedal feel even after fluid change and bleed, seems to be the way they are

yes bleeding normal way rear left rear right front left front right . pedal goes to floor

calipers rooted? Are you letting the pedal hit the ground before tightening the bleeder?

Calipers are all good . I've tried half way and all the way down still the same

are you getting any pressure and fluid at the calipers?
silly question? when you say "new" do you mean brand new or new as in new to your car but still secondhand...lol |

Why did you bleed them in the first place? Best way to work out is if the pedal was fine before what ever work you did, what has changed since ( apart from crap pedal feel)?

TROYMAN wrote: are you getting any pressure and fluid at the calipers? silly question? when you say "new" do you mean brand new or new as in new to your car but still secondhand...lol yep there is pressure and fluid at the calipers . i took them off and blocked them with wood and pumped the pedal to make sure they came out a bit when pedal was pushed the car had a new master cylinder put on in 2009 . car was driven for 6 months, then i let it run out of rego and sense then its only been driven a couple of times. so i put a good 2nd hand one on and still s**t pedal . so i got another new one .still s**t pedal.

do you have any pedal or does the pedal go to the floor?
might be a long shot, i had a very poor pedal feel and poor stopping ability with mine, the fluid was black aswell, after bleeding them and flushing the system they were still poor, they worked just not well.. all my rubber hoses were perished and were expanding, i replaced them with braided lines and my brakes are all good again... i have noticed my fluid dont last asong now that there is turbo heat cooking my master cyl and brake lines..lol |

goes to the floor , if i brake and then brake again quickly the brakes work pretty good . front brake lines are braided . rear are in good condition .
all my turbo is wraped or heat shielded
