Hi all,
I need to know if it is possible to fit a steel EB or ED booster into an XH, to replace the plastic shyte it came with. Can the early booster be made to fit easily enough? Is there a techo for this? Cheers, Grant.

yes it can,
but you will need to drill 2 more holes in the firewall as the ed booster has 4 studs where the ef/el booster only has 2 studs holding it to the firewall... |

So I take it you mean the two existing holes in the firewall will line up OK, and I just need to drill two more holes. Is this correct?
That would be cool, I have a couple of good steel balancers, and I can then put this ute back together. Cheers,

I am about to change the booster on my AU1 which uses the same plastic booster and the holes do NOT line up. |

Bugger!
I will take a heap of pics when I make it fit, and post them in my build thread. Cheers,
