Gday Posters,
Vehicle is a 2009 G6 falcon sedan. I had a new brake booster installed and after a couple of days noticed the brake lights were on continuously. I pulled the brake light switch out to inspect. It works ok, brake lights went out when I pushed the plunger in. The problem as I see it is that the lever on the brake pedal is not shutting it off.
So my questions are, could the booster rod be a different length to the one on the previous booster and not letting it engage with the switch? And, are there brake light switches with different length plungers?
