ive put in a new master cylinder, bleed the brakes and now ive no pressure even with the engine running. my ! warning light is on for hydralic failure. my guess is the booster is kaaput.

does anyone else have any other answers to my situation

when you say no pressure, do you mean no pedal pressure??
if the brake pedal is rock hard with the engine running booster is not working..
if the pedal goes to the floor its a master cyl or air in the system problem.. maybe there is an air lock in the line or master cyl...????

ive just gone over the brakes again.

the hydralic failure light has gone off but ive still got no pedal pressure meaning the pedal is going to the floor no matter how many times i get the missus to pump it.

the booster was fine before a changed the master cylinder so im thinking more a vacuum leak but i cant hear any hissing type of noise

any more ideas

if the booster is buggered or you have a vacuum leak the pedal will be rock hard. it has to be a hydraulic problem. did you bench bleed the master cylinder before you fitted it?

there is a chance the the master cyl has failed,
i myself have taken working second hand ones of wrecks to have them fail as soon as air entered the system...

do you get a nice strong stream of brake fluid through ALL bleed nipples?
