Hi all,
I had an 'interesting' trip home from work tonight. Slowing down for a turn off on the Hwy (110 kph) the brakes decided now was the time to stop working (Hardly pulling up the car, warning light on the dash lit up, however locking up on hard application). Pulled over and had a look as best I could with the torch and noticed brake fluid all down the firewall behind the brake booster :? . Crawled home using the gears and handbrake and had a decent look. There were no other leaks or issues as far as I could tell apart from losing it behind the booster, so hopefully replacing it will solve the problem. I'm thinking the master cylinder is fine but any other opinions would be welcome.
Cheers guys and Happy Easter to all, :)
Euan.

I would have thought that would mean it was leaking down the front of the booster, but thank you :) and I will certainly check it out.

All sorted! Replaced all the seals in the master cyl after s**t myself at the price of a new one (from $380 to $550, for an '87 Laser that's worth maybe $1500??? :?) V $140 for a seal kit and a couple of hrs of my time. Thanks guys.
