Im not sure if this is the right place to post, but its the closest i could find for this problem.

ok.... For the past week my battery has been going flat on me, I originaly thought it was the battery - it was about half full, so i fill it up, and it holds its charge for much longer, about 2 - 3 days,

It decides to go flat again after 3 days after giving it a full charge.

About 15 minutes ago, after being very frustrated at the problem, no signs of alternater malfunction, i walk around the car, whilst started, and notice that the break lights are on, so i think to myself (Silly me, the headlights are on).. But sure enough, they are switched to the off position, and the headlights... are off.

The brake lights are stuck on... What is going on here!? im happy that i found the problem... But what is the problem!, what is causing the lights to stay on continuously...

did ya have thi ignition on if no you have a short if yes then my bet is fulty brake switch but im leading 2words a power short cause the brake lights dont have power when the ignition is off
