my ef sedan has decided to start making some noises
once you get going at about 5ks it starts emitting a repetetive squeak from the passenger side front whee/brake area. i know my discs are a little warped and they have been for quite a while but it has now started to make this noise. it goes in time with the car eg the faster the car goes that faster the squeak goes. would this just be from the discs rubbing on the pads i dont want to spend much money to get it checked out as i am trading it in very soon anyone have any ideas thanks, mark |

how would i tell if they are seized
i could push the caliper back in to change the brake pads and that was after the noise started |

the same problem I had. It gave me too much headache trying to find where its coming from. Midas fixed it by repacking the front wheel bearing and machining the disk. apparently front wheel starts to play over a period of time and need to be re-packed and adjusted to avoid wheel moving to either side of the brake pads.

id say its more to do with the disc being warped than anything else.

yeah i have played with the wheel bearings since it started and over the last few days i ve narrowed it down to pretty much having to be the disc
hope it stops when i get them machined |
