I recently had to get some new pads put on as mine were "grinding"
Took a look at it when they were replaced and it was fcuked!! but since then iv had the worst noise coming from the brakes, it sounds like a really really bad rubbing noise, kinda like a rust old see-saw This noise is so loud that you can hear it from about 50meters away with traffic. but it goes away after about a minute of driving What is this and what do i need to do to fix it? Help please guys!

This " grinding noise ".....how was the surfaces of the rotors looking before you fitted new pads???
Did you check the wheel bearings/adjustment??? How were the brake caliper slides??? Were the brake pad shims in place??? Have you changed the brake fluid???

I've done a check on it and it all seems good, pretty much fixed the problem, had a hunch that it had something to do with the handbrake as it was mainly when i was reversing, thanks mate
