I'm running Bendix Heavy Duty pads at the moment in the front of my V8 EL, but I'm finding that they are very dusty and a bit noisy, but I must say I do like how long they last. What are some alternatives that may not be as dusty or noisy?

You could look at Repco Thermoquiet.

I use them and find them quite a good all round pad. Little dust and quiet, good braking from cold as well as hot.

Have also found ADB Pads good and last well too.

Have used QFM HPX pads in both my XR6s - EF and AU2 - for at least six years and am really happy with them. They produce little dust or noise, last a very long time, are easy on rotors, and stop very well. But they aren't cheap. I get mine through GSL Rallysport.
