EBC Greenstuff pads and DBA rotors. Slotted if you want the extra stopping power and don't care about pad wear.

As said here and in 100's of other threads, do a search and you will soon find majority of people here are more than happy with slotted rotors dba/some rda and ebc greenstuff pads/some bendix.
The search feature is def. your friend!

EBC Greenstuff pads are the way to go. Less brake dust and plenty of stop.

Hi Guys.
I am running DBA Slotted's with Bendix Ultimates on the front of my ED Wagon Excellent stopping power, much better than the standard setup, especially in the 30k's an hour range. Though, they do emit a noise from the rotor/brake pad area and a slight vibration after installation. This happened only around the 50k - 60k an hour mark, with mild to hard pedal. This pee'vd me. I re-adjusted the discs 2 weeks later, after bed in. New bearings were installed as well at the rotor changeover. But now, after 6 weeks of the brakes redone, the noise/vibration has diminished dramatically. I am in the belief that the inital hardness of the pad is worn away? But the stopping power is still there I am very suprised that I am not going to hear/feel the noise like that anymore. They do make dust, they do slightly score the disc, but the stopping power is the main factor. That's why we buy these pads. EBC GREENSTUFF was my preferred choice, but supply was hard to get at my preferred shop, as many people raved about em, so next change, might be these to see the difference with the slotteds.

yeah, I've got Ultimates on the Sprint.
Awesome bite, but they do make a f**k of dust. Think I'll try EBC's on the fairmont soon, and see how they go, cause all you guys on here love 'em!
