hey fellas and ladies, umm my brake pedal went hard as a rock last night on the way home from QR, and i've checked that the vacume line was on the booster and it is still there i also checked to make sure that their was actually vacume in the line and there was. last time this happened to me was in my ef fairmont but it actually popped a seal or something and you could hear and physically feel the air from inside the car, its got me baffled any help guys and girls would be very much appreciated, cheer guys and girls

i had the same problem with my ea fairmont and ended up going up the rear of a commodore. all it was was the brake booster failed an i just replaced it with another hope this helps mate.

Yeah me too I had a hairline crack near where the vac hose conects to the booster. Check for any before you do anything else, may be around the back of it towards the firewall. Happened on an EF gli too Ishould say

Ok i found the problem a dirty big crack in the front of the dumb plastic booster i've got booster out and apart its a piece of piss to fix it was only when i got the booster apart i realised i didn't have to take it out
