The only way to do it is either an AU K Frame, or a Cebco kit. I have a Cebco 330mm kit in my NC.

thanks mate. i was hopeing it migh have been a bit more simple... dont know what i was thinking might as well go the AU K Frameas i have the AU2 xr6 motor in it.
Have you noticed any better stopping. before i go ahead and do it. just so its worth my time.
do u know if i got the AU K Frame will i have to change my rotors...

also if i was to do the Cebco kit is there wheel size limits as i have at the moement 16x8...

thanks

the au k frame can be fitted but its not a bolt in job, holes will need to be drilled and crush tubes welded to the chasis rails ect..
you will also need the au suspension and steering componants aswell...
if you do go with the au k frame conversion you can use ba/bf brakes as a upgraded upgrade..

unfortunatly your current rotors will be useless for this conversion..

thanks for that. a bit of thinking has to go into this now... i am wondering if its worth it now. with all the things need for the AU conver will i have to alo use the au rotors and then wheels as well..
might go the celo upgrade....

i will have to have a long think about this. do you know of anyone thats done this the AU to EB-D and how much of a pain in the a** it is... and is it all worth the time and effort.. might need a few pointers in what to do also..

thanks for the heads up.

The Cebco kit makes a big difference. I'm able to outbrake my brothers AU2 XR6 ute. Significantly. I need to run 17's to clear.

What size brakes do you have on your car?
what size brakes does your bro have on his AUII?

330mm with PBR C4 Calipers, my brother has stock AU2 287mm twin piston stuff.

i will vouch for the cebco/race brakes melbourne 330mm setup i did it to mine with xr8 booster, braided lines and new rear and master cylinders, however i'm now selling the car due to personal reasons leaving it as a surplus vehicle.
