Does anyone know what the cost is to get a complete 2 or 4 piston set up?
i.e. maybe something like the EL GT setup? 4 x 330mm slotted rotors, 4 calipers with pads, braided lines. Does anyone have something like this and where did they get their package from? Car will have 19 inch wheels shortly which I'm told is good as at least 17's are required for something like this. Thanks.

330mm rears, um no..
fronts, to do that u'l need genuine gt stuff, which is 800 bucks per spindle, then u need calipers, discs, pads, etc etc.. or just go to www.cebcobrakes.com.au will probs work out cheaper, but still not cheap.

Just go and have a look on forums at the sponsers. Hightek brakes has what you are looking for and Crescent motors have a complete brake upgrade kit as well.

I have the 330mm 2 peice Cebco package.
I got it a few years ago, and paid about $2k from memory. I believe they now sell for about $2.4k I am very happy with it.

No - those prices were parts and postage.

is ur EL falcon got ABS???
if not, why dont you extend the brake booster? (make it longer) most brake shops are able to modify brake boosters and not cost you too much you will notice a HUGE difference in braking done it in my old mans F-100 panel van which weighs 3 tonnes!!! After we moded the brake booster, we could lock up all 4 tyres if we wanted to in a 3 tonne car/truck.....thats scarry s**t costed about 200 from what i remember using original booster.

Yeah, it's got ABS.
Got one quote yesterday to do the following; 4 X DBA Slotted rotors - $135 each 4 X Ferodo pads - $130 pair 5 x steel braided lines - $85 each Caltex Race Fluid (bleed system and repalce with this) - $130 labour - approx $250-300 Total approx $1650. upgrading to twin piston with Cebco package for example would cost about $2800 just for the front installed, nothing done to the rear. Doesn't look like a rear twin piston setup for the rear is available?

No, that's why I shouldn't bother with the twin piston upgrade option?

its up to you! unless you fell it is really worth it, i wouldn't bother. i cant see why you would be braking a such an extreme on the street day in day out!

half the reason is to improve the car and the other is looks as I'm getting bigger wheels shortly and the rotors will show more and I'd assume will be heavier so a better braking system would be needed anyway?
