ok guys need help with dads car
ed i think or eb.. to me they are the same have a drama with the brakes after replacing the discs with ones from frasers wreck.. q1 are teh brake discs all the same through E series for ABS cars ( dads car and fraser's wreck both had abs ) as the abs sensors on dads car are grinding against the reluctor rings on the disc, we can see this by the rings being marked... also when brakeing hard the pedal just stops and no matter how much pressure u put on it it wont move unless u take your foot off the brake and then reapply it. could this be caused by the abs sensors rubbing on the reluctor rings?? everything was fine and working great untill we changed the discs

I believe the rings were in a different place, EF/EL ring is further towards the upright. And the rings DO have a different "gap" for the sensor to pick up on, as the ran different abs units, and the sensors were different.
