I removed the caliper and put in the new brake pads with anti-brake squeal
Now I can't put the caliper back on, it's not "wide" enough Is there like a pressure gauge which can relieve the pressure so it will fit back on? Some help is needed cheers Attachment: Attachment:

You need to use a G clamp or similar to push the pistons back in so the pad fits.
You can buy a special tool for like $15 too. |

You should be able to do it with your fingers, no need for a G-clamp.
I have to do it that way with the Brembo's, as you can't get a G-clamp in there (cause there's pistons on both sides of the calliper).

Also, watch the brake fluid doesnt flow over the bottle. I lot of people top up their brake fluid not giving any thought to the fact that when you do your brake pads, your level will be close to spot on.

Yes thats exactly what im saying, if my fluid goes down too far I will check that my brake pads dont need changing before just topping up the fluid. because brake fluid doesnt just evaporate, low fluid normally means there is a leak in the brake lines or your brake pads are wearing low. |
