ADAPTERS... Hate to repeat myself so soon but have a look..
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=77715&start=20 No issue with studs, as you bolt these on and then they have their own studs sticking out more... They have a center raised lip to act as a replacement hub for the rears, which you could use on the front of yours as it looks like you will run out of hub before your required twenty mm or so...... Longer wheel studs could be bought or manufactured (not sure on legalities of that, but can't see that many issues) but you still need the wheel sitting on a hub. The wheel adapter sits on your hub and then has an extension that replicates the hub further out. Have a decent look at the pictures on this thread dude. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=77715&start=20 |

They don't come with studs they are just a thin piece of metal that slide on to your hub.

you can get 25mm hub adaptors on ebay, they have there own studs so rim bolt up smooth

If you are needing 16mm spacer for only 1mm of clearance, (and no stud left!) you'd be better off looking at adapters... I run 5mm shims on the front of mine, but needed longer wheerstuds as a result. They can be brought from any wheel tyre shop and are multi fit. My AU1 17's hit the calipers, but Yobbofords old 17's from his EB wagon cleared them easily

AH ok up to date now just read throught the thread again
Now if you fitted 20-30mm adapters wouldn't your wheels foul the guards? I no I lowered the missus BA with 19's and they would rub on the guards on full lock, put 20mm on that and they would be on the gaurds

DO NOT! touch those ebay spacers, there is something very important missing from them, not to mention that the studs are not imperial like the falcon ones so when you wind your wheelnuts on they wont tighten properly and you will loose a wheel

I seriously do not advise hub adaptors after what I discovered on mine today ...
gearbox-suspension-brake-driveline-f4/do-not-use-hub-adaptors-photographic-proof-t82431.html they were purchased from tempe tyres. I may have done something wrong but I followed all directions given by tempe tyres

yeah stay away form the cheap ebay ones, their rears dont have the lip!. Can be identified by stud thread. If its a 12x1.5mm thread its a cheap version. Goon ones have a 1/2 inch thread.

guys ford actually made 1.5mm spacers found on the rear assembly for AU2 onwards as the twin piston assembly offset was made 1.5 mm too large and to help handling they put spacers on the rear to enlarge the track to compensate
