:)

They actually look pretty good! 95% of people wouldn't know they are fake. Except us Ford guys who know how hard it is to upgrade our damn brakes!

guys ford actually made 1.5mm spacers found on the rear assembly for AU2 onwards as the twin piston assembly offset was made 1.5 mm too large and to help handling they put spacers on the rear to enlarge the track to compensate

Really? They weren't fitted to my LTD..

No issue with studs, as you bolt these on and then they have their own studs sticking out more... They have a center raised lip to act as a replacement hub for the rears, which you could use on the front of yours as it looks like you will run out of hub before your required twenty mm or so......

Longer wheel studs could be bought or manufactured (not sure on legalities of that, but can't see that many issues) but you still need the wheel sitting on a hub.

The wheel adapter sits on your hub and then has an extension that replicates the hub further out.

Have a decent look at the pictures on this thread dude.

Cheers mate this is the only way around it forget spacers altogether theyre useless for this situation ill have to try and check how much clearance i need to fit the rim on and at the same time make sure im not going to scrub the christ out of the guards eventhough theyve been rolled as the adapter will bring it out a fair bit id think? thanks again anyway

I'll swap you my Brembo 4 pot fronts - they should fit :) I've certainly got tonnes of space under the 20's!!

i thought the 4 and 6 pots are the same width? if not i just made things a whole lot hard for an extra bit of stopping power which in all honesty is not that neccessary wat a bit*h!

I still dont think using adapters that you will be able to run your rims. Even with a 15-20mm adapter it would still have to hit the guards, unless you have your car running 4wd style. I just know from running 19's on the missus BA they scrub as it is let alone bringing it out another 20mm.

get new rims, pushing your rims out 15-25mm more is definately going to cause guard clearance issues.
e-series need the adaptors to make up for different offset, it's not comparable to what you are doing.

trial and error finding a set that fit the brembos though.
even factory rims are very close, they are a big caliper.

It is basically the same as the standard offset

here some options for u
first one is the factory made spacer for AU and part number is AU1156A and if u can find some they are 1.25mm thick
they second one is a more common one and is the dust sheild and part number is BG2B158A and is what i have done a few times in the past got 6 of them machined down to the size of the face of the disc and used them as a shim cost me $30 at the engineering shop to get 6 of them cut down(3 each side)

Note how those spaces sit BEHIND the brake rotor (disk) and not on the wheel side of the equation.

Hmm... I wonder what the original poster of this thread has done?
Swapping brakes with WAGGIN seems like a bloody good idea to me.
