Hey, I want to perform a service on my gearbox (stuff taking it to a mechanic, damn overpriced). I was just wondering if the filter and gasket kit is something I can pick up from my local ford parts dealer, and also a rough estimate on how much its going to set me back? The ol' EF is getting a bit slippy in overdrive, and doesn't like to stay in lockup mode. hehe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

filter and gasket kit around the $30 off hand, dont need to go to fraud any auto shop will have them

25-30 at any auto shop, repco bursons etc. they usually keep a fair amount on hand.
