Hi Guys,

I want to put the bulb-out warning light that the LTD dash has on the DF/DL series.

However I don't have an LTD dash and need to know how to wire up such a system. What do I need to do to make a light light up when a brake light blows?

I'm not real good when it comes to figuring out how to reverse a process.

Hope you guys can help me.

Regards,

John.

You will have to build a custom wiring loom with the relevant resistor and diodes, of which are not known, to activate a light when the total resistance values of the circuit changes due to a bulb blowing.

I have to say that even though I have an NF Fairlane cluster in my EB, the bulb out feature is the only thing I have not hooked up.

As far as I know there is no doc or manual that has the required base information needed to build this sort of circuit from scratch. If you want this feature, get a Fairlane Cluster.
