the ef has a leak on the front brake caliper at the bleeder valve, its not sealing properly, it doesnt seem to seat all the way round the bottom of the valve, can see the marks where it seats and where it dosent, got a new valve from ford and that doesnt seal at all, do i need a new caliper.

well there are two parts involved in the leak, you replaced one and it still leaks.

so yes new or reco caliper.
