yeah where bouts does the kit actually bolt to....the lower arm or upper?

does anyone have anymore pics of the differnt types - whats best?

shim/ratchet/other...

If its the shim type you can often tell by the longer bolts sticking through the inner guard into the engine bay.

not strange, just some cars need it and some don't, most people fit it when lowering so they don't have to get under it again if its needed.

Ummmm, do the BAs have a camber kit as standard?
Coz I looked under my ride and noticed a very similar setup. (Destroyer's camber pics). As far as I know my XT is stock (apart from SR kit). Bought it off the manager guy from Ford dealership.

It's not that if you have one, its if it has the longer adjustment to allow for the difference in camber when you lower your ride. And the guy at WSP did tell me that all falcon's that are lowered must put them on (total of 4) or you will destroy your inside tyre section!

Ah i see...

Well, its a late 2003 build and bought it early 2004 for a bit under $30K (split it with my dad), only had about a thousand k's on it. Came with the SR kit and 17", but it doesnt have the 6 stacker CD or rear power windows or whatever the SR comes with.

yeh the toe was adj. mostly but if you look at the first adjustment sheet the camber was left -.54 degree right was -1.20 degree all that changed when the allows went on, so yes the toe was mostly changed but it was mostly to do with the camber!!

Advanced Sterring and Mechanical 9831 6613 at Arndell Park [near WSID] have the rachet adjustable kits. Not sure how much they are, but they gave me a really good price on my shocks and king springs, and there the only people i trust to work on my car.
