Hi Guys,

I found these wheels i really like and they have them in 8.5 or 9inch for the fronts which may be a problem.

I previously had 8inch on the front and didnt have any problems. I also noticed when i had the 19's on the front that the top of the tire was very close to spindal if thats whats its called.

Please let me know or anyone i can call to find out.

Thanks in advance :D

mate it all depends on the offset, or backspacing

Those wheels you want will have to be done in the exact correct offset to fit without problems..... this doesnt mean +6mm..... as the offset will be different to cater for the wider rim.

For instance i had ROH 17x8's in e-series offset with 235 tyres and i still had to slightly roll the guards to stop the front and rear tyres hitting. The offset has to be spot to suit your application, and its something you wont know unless you test fit them to your car

Well i dont care about offset as im getting getting my front end with custome brakes and offset so it will come out another 35mm from the standard offset.

If the offset is the case then it should be okay then

Those rims on my car seem to be going fine. They havent hit the gaurds or any thing AFAIK. And mine is way lower then yours. seems weird that yours would hit and on my car they dont...

sounds good

If it was anything like on my car, you will see a darkened patch on the last couple inches of the tyre where that plastic strip will be rubbing, better off just removing it

Oh and wheres the pics :)

Nice wheels I reckon. I bought some cheap (and smaller) ones that were advertised as BBS similar... And I found the CENTRE HOLE was not big enough to fit over the EF hub!

Rank.

The wheels I got had centre holes about 63mm, but everything else would have fit, so I sold those wheels!

I have spent the last two hours looking around various places to find the proper rating for OFFSET and what the CENTRE (HUB) HOLE should be.

I am now tired and getting grumpy and going around in circles, so I am asking in the vain hope that someone can either send me link to something comprehensive or just tell me what the hell I am doing!

Since I am on a really tight budget, I've found these...

Image
These ones are only 16x7", but seller hasn't listed OFFSET, and even if he did, I wouldn't know for certain if it was okay for my EF!

Also interested in some that are in chrome and....
*** 16 x 7 offset +49 ***

Can I use an offset bigger than factory without ruining the axles or whatever else will have pressure put on it?

Hell, I am off to bed. Too damn tired for this carry on.
