Thread mining time...

I have these wheels fitted to my ebII sedan, with ultra low springs fitted.

at lock, mainly when the wheel is turned to the left, the wheel rubs on the guard, even after I did a hobo job of rolling the guard lips (i have new guards to go on, i just need to paint them first.

The tyres that are on them are 225/55/16 with the rim being a 16x7 rim.

I suspect that if I put a narrower tyre on the rim it wont rub anymore, but I'm starting to think I might like a set of turbo blades, or 15 inch chasers instead, wearing 205 or 215 rubber.

Am i right in thinking this will stop the rubbing?

Anyone interested in the wheels?

I drove an EB Fairmont which had these, they had Ford Centre caps in them too, looked real nice with a subtle body kit..

How are these an ED option? 16"s?! I thought the only 16" wheel from a boxcar was the Brock 16" on the EA?
