Hi, can someone out there explain to me how Camber Kits work?
And do you think i need one? Wheels are straight in both pics It almost looks like the rims are like \ / pointing outwards at the front. Any help would be great. Cheers Brett |

camber kits allow more adjustment to the top control arms and you would need to get a wheel alignment after install, i would recommend them otherwise your wheel aligner may have to settle for "near enough"

Cheers Brett by the pics your tyre top is leaning in about a 3-4 deg.,normal is 1\2 -1 deg..you need them to push the tyre out square.did you lower it?

Don't they just have longer threads to allow more shims?
*edit- in the upper control arm bush mounts.

Ive got super lows all round, never really started to notice it before now.
Would replacing bushes in the front help or not at all? |

Some aftermarket ones use rachet or slide adjustment instead of shims. You can get away without them with lows but superlows look to bring the top in too far. Bushes would certainly help if yours are shagged!

Going through all my pics of the car since its been lowered the camber wasn't as bad as it is now. I do know that some bushes in the front have pretty much gone its either the lower control arm bush, I'm not sure, ill get some pics of it tomorrow

if the top bushes are gone then replacing with the camber kits is the best option

I just went and took some pics of the bushes that Ive noticed have s**t themselves
This one This is actually bent backwards has been for as long as i remember, no idea how I'm going to get it off to put new bushes on Last on is of the drivers side. Are all these making the camber like it is or even be apart of the camber problem? Cheers |

Well they definately wont be helping! They should be changed. The bent swaybar pin should come out ok but you'll need a new one.
