heya. there was a post a little while ago about pretty much the same thing but i'm struggling to find it. basically everything is REALLY squeaky when i'm driving except in the rain so i'm guessing things are just dry. what can i use to lube it up and where? is there stuff i can just spray in the general areas? cheers!

well if the ball joints are stock they wont have grease nipples in them, check all the boots for cracks, if they are u will have to replace ball joints.as for the bushes they normally squeek if they are nolethane or simply worn. look for rub marks and black dust from steel on steel rubbing.

My car got really squeaky when the bushes were on the way out.
Then when I replaced them, it was more squeaky cos they put the wrong trailing arms in.

In other words change the bushes, and make sure they do a good job of it... should fix things...
This is if the suspension is sqeaking... Also try rocking the car, and try and find where exactly its coming from, and then inspect, might be something obvious, might not. Either way, you'll have a better idea of it. Cheers

Hi.
I've got exactly the same problem on the exact same model, and love when it rains . My mechanic sprayed brake fluid directly on the shockers, but it did nothing to fix the problem. I'm guessing it's warn bushes then from the explanations above. |
