you are correct. but I think galapogas is running standard offset so for him to upgrade would mean he would need to uprgrade other parts. Also adaptors are illegal and would void your insurance. the only other way is to buy au offset wheels and then swap the diff out for an AU one to do this techinically correct. I am of the opinion if you gonna do this do it properly. Either way (cebco or UPC) its a chunk of money but its worth it for the overall package you end up with.

Agreed, I had adapters all round, so went for another kit(not any of the mentioned ones) to get rid of the adapters for the front, and i ended up with 4spots on the front as well as retaining my ABS. Had to change my booster to a Wagon one so i had more rear braking to compensate for the increased fronts. Next i am getting a custom 35 spline diff in the offset i need so i dont have to change wheels.

You can just fit the C4 caliper+330mm disc 16" under Sprint rims, I've tested it

Yeah I am running 19's. like everything I will see how the twin piston caliper goes but knowing me I will eventually go to the four piston setup. Just as well the fiance likes cars and racing too. lol

yup you are right the C5 is wider. but we are talking overall pad width difference of about 7mm. The C4 is a more slimline caliper also giving it an overall smaller appearance. Piston size is about the same I believe.
As I said I am using this as a stepping stone to the four piston caliper which I can fit to the same upright utilising the same hub and rotor. I eventually want to go to a DBA 500 two piece rotor as well |

Yep just curious. No way i'd fork for a 4 piston caliper, so weighing up my options here. 2nd hand RBS kit looks like it will give marginally better performance but will have more expensive replacement discs.

My understanding is that the ELGT one piece hub/rotor is more expensive. And also difficult to get, probably why it is more expensive. The cebco one is standard rotor off 94 Mustang Cobra which you can replace with cheaper RDA rotors or DBA provide a full range of replacements. Including the two piece 5000 series which I am salivating over right now. hehe

Its all about shopping around I got my UPC kit brand new for a tidy sum of $800 with polished calipers then found a guy selling 2 of the same wheels as mine in AU offset for $200 so I recon I got a pritty good deal. As for the UPC kit I couldn't fault how the kit goes together it was a piece of piss I couldn't get over how easy it was to put it all on. As the performance side of things I will have to reserve my judgment as I haven't tried them out yet
