Hey guys,
Does anyone know how to change the front shocks on an e-series falcon? I have managed to do the rears, but the fronts are proving difficult. I've looked in my manual, but to no avail. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot, GAZZA |

if you have no idea you'll need some sort of a workshop manual and a spring compressor.
I did mine referring to a gregories workshop as crap as they are it managed to get me through fittin my king s'lows and monroe shocks on the front.

you need spring compressors to compress the springs, as the holder beneath the spring is welded to the shockie.

I'm not too sure about up there, but a few spare parts shops down here will hire out the spring compressors for about $10 a day. Cheaper than buying a set if you're only going to use them once in a blue moon.

have done them before without using spring compressers, you need to drop the upper control arm, and the lower caster rod, easy to do ..
just be careful when undoing the top spring nut at the front of the shock .. because the nut can fire out quite quick |
