Where the bloody hell does it go ?!
LOL I've been laying under the car and I can't find there to fit the thing! I seem to have misplaced my manual, but someone here can probably answer me quicker than I could find it anyway

Theres a plug on one side of the box that has a red wire coming out of it. It held in by an 8mm bolt. Before you undo the bolt clean the area with a rag so no s**t gets in the box. Change you speedo drive over, held on with a sir clip.
Cheers

I suggest you support the gearbox on the gearbox mount with a jack, and lower it a little by taking bolts out. Should make the job a lot easier.

Ah the red cable, I saw that but didn't realise it was from the sender.
It wasn't an 8mm bolt either, more like a 7 or what ever the imperial equilavent is (for future reference) I just stuck the jack under something solid just behind the from wheel and jacked it up and did it from there. There was no need to jack the gearbox up as it was fairly easy to get to, altho I could have got the car a bit higher off the ground as every time I tuned my head I rubbed my nose on the gearbox. LOL 10 minute job and it's made a big difference to my speedo now. Here I was thinking I was going from 120-160 in a few seconds...

It should be, but it's bloody hard getting up to 140 in the backstreets around Miranda at this time of night I've still got my lower profile wheels on for the track tomorrow but after that I'll throw my 17s back on and it should be right.
I should be able to head back out to the drags now and not hit the speed limiter besfore crossing the traps
