Cheapest & Best Place in Melbourne to get brakes from.
They have DBA, Slotted, X-Drilled Discs, even have Bendix Ulitma pads. I was quoted $220 DELIVERED to my door, DBA X-Drilled Discs & Ulitima Pads for the front of my AU. 8-)

Heres the website: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales ... uct_type=1

Hmm i just got my set of RDA slotted front rotors from HighTek Brakes in melbourne with EBC greenstuff pads and Bendix Advance rears.

And they have improved braking feel plus performance tenfold. Worth every dollar i reckon.

I got an EAII S Pack.

Cam @ hightek brakes did me a deal $69.00 for front slotted disc X 2 = $138 they also recommended me to use EBC greenstuff pads with the rotors and all i can say its awesome in stopping. Even just bedding them in its got a really nice feel. That cost me $105 for the front set with bendix advance for the rears which were around $45

All up was about $280. I reckon it was a good upgrade since my discs were down to the minimum thickness anyways.

Nah, go to Cam at HighTek and say "I'm on FordMods" and ask him what you want. He's a FordMods sponsor and a nice guy and is happy to do a good price for FM.

I couldnt reccomend High Tek enough and to tell the truth they are almost the only guys i trust my car with, id have no hesitation leaving it there all day or letting them do whats needed without ripping me; they have infact done a few little things to my car without charge, hold them in the highest regard - they obviously know word of mouth is the best advertising.
They also do suspension/.servicing n rwc; getting serviced and lowered next week there actually.

I had by rotors replaced DBA 4000 xdrilled front, and 4000 slotted at rear, and bendix performance ( I think that is how you spell it ) pads.

I am happy with the price and service, but perhaps I could have picked a better pad. Cold stops are serioulsy hard to get use to, and they have stopped smelling now, and I dont like the dust

Seems most performance or even well performing pads dont work as well when cold; give them a few stops n they will be good from there on in.
Ditto with brake dust, fact of life - just keep a cloth in ur car to wipe the rims every day or two depending on your situation.
