I'm looking at some replacement springs and shocks that will lower my car, but I want it to actually perform around corners and not sag.

I am on a budget, so I'm not gonna go out and get Bilstein gear or something rediculous.. I want springs that won't sag too soon, they need to be nice and low but not too low and most of all responsive.

I've narrowed it to 3 clear choices: King springs, dobinson springs and pedders. They vary in price but are all relatively cheap.

My question is, what are peoples expeiences with these brands of springs?

You can buy Lovells springs for around $110 a pair on eBay too. They'll be on the lower end of quality though.
Remember as well that ride comfort will mostly come from the shocks you buy to suit the spring height.

i have pedders, i find them great. only thing i say to do though. is if you are going to replace springs and shocks, make sure you do the bushes and get a bigger sway bar.

I'm surprised to hear lovells springs considered below average. Years ago they were one of the better local manufacturers.

I have pedders, although my car sits very low, and has to have pedders short body struts to work, but it handles very well.

Kings springs base stuff is just s**t.

Don't listen to PIMP_LTD. LOL

I have Kings Springs in my EB. They are Super Lows and combined with Ultima Shocks provide a great ride and excellent handling.

The Ultima Shocks are a great budget shock and can be purchased off Ebay in varying lengths.

So they are ok in an E series? I have had them in a few other cars before, and wasn't happy with them, hence my judgement. Maybe they put more R & D into falcon stuff.

i would have to agree with pimp ltd..... i do not like king springs in falcons, had them in my old EB, and it was a pig.
