Last night I was driving home and I heard a sound almost like my passenger rear wheel had thrown a rock up under my wheel arch. I stopped, got out and had a look, but could not find anything wrong.
The passenger rear suspension is very bouncy now, and every time I go over a bump I hear a knocking sound. It seems to me I have thrown a bolt or nut from the shocker? The car no longer has SLS. The car still drives fine, except for the bouncing and knocking. I wont be driving the car until I get it repaired, so any help would be great. Cheers Alex

either you've popped the nut off the end of one of the shocks or you've busted a swaybar link, my money is on the shockie

I know that EA's apparently have a history of the right rear sway bar mount breaking. With it broken you may notice that going up or down a driveway or going over a speed bump may cause a banging sound. I also know the sway bar mount can be welded up easily. You can check the mount to see if its broken by lying down and looking in front of the right rear wheel at the sway bar mount.

Well it has been fixed. One repaired sway bar mount and a new set of Monroe Gt Gas shockers and $195 later drives like a dream.
