Here is a pic of the clutch pedal that has broken the main support bracket. The support flange on the opposite side to the pedal on the main support bracket has come away and torn a bit of metal from the main bracket and the clutch pedal has now kicked off to the side a bit. It doesnt contact the clutch switch to enable cruise control and you have to put the pedal to the floor to engage the clutch.

Is there anyway I can close the gap it has left back up and then weld it to make it stronger or do I have to replace the main bracket?

I need this fixed ASAP as its only going to get worse.

Cheers

You dont have a choice, it has to come out. (pedal box)
Mine was similar a little while back, the spot weld fatigue and crack at the bracket.

I got a welding joint to fix it and strengthen it and it cost a grand total of $10.

Ahhh s**t. All that work for a $10 job. Guess I better get started today then.
Anyone want to give me a hand feel free.

Only got told by the wife about it this morning.

Does a mig cause sparks and s**t. Dont want a plastic or carpet fire.

But yes, migs do create heat, sparks, and if not careful, fire!

Bugger that. The only settings I use on climate control is 16 degrees or 32 degrees. Better just having air con hot and cold.
