Was just about to post that...I think you actually have the nut all the way, rather than out because the pedal sits higher the more thread can be seen through the firewall.

i think i know what the problem is.....
the pipe on your firewall plate is to long, it needs to be at the same length as the factory pipe on the firewall.. |

i see, well i'll fix that on the weekend the angle is slightly wrong so i was going to cut if off and put the plate on then weld the pipe back on

pulled the plate out has reduced it a little, the clutch has some adjustment on it now i will take that out tomorrow and see how it is
