Hey everyone,
Just finished my manual conversion ( ) and its all going well, except i've got a bit f an issue with the clutch pedal sitting way too high. i read on here its meant to be about 140mm from the end of the travel, where as mine is about 170 or so (i didnt measure it after we re adjusted it). the clutch grabs about 1 inch off the firewall, and it really feels like the rest of the travel isn't doing anything. my mate and i are thinking that we might put a stopper on the clutch pedal to stop it from coming so far up from the floor. will there be any issue with it like this? it definitely doesnt make any difference to the grab of the clutch if we push the pedal in to about the sameish height as the other pedals. if it makes any difference the clutch is brand new but the flywheel is machined. i have heard of the machined flywheel requiring a bit more throw to compensate for its reduced thickness. any ideas will help. cheers, Nic

The EB sat that high but that was cause it was how i wanted it... adjust ya clutch cable nuts and see how far you can get it closer to the firewall

nah, thats as close as it will go to the firewall without dragging on the gear changes.
just playing with the extra amount of travel up top though, we reckon we can push the pedal back and not have a problem |
