How do you adjust the friction or release point on the clutch?
I think i remember hearing a while ago its got something to do with adjusting a nut on the firewall? Basically i would like to adjust it so the friction isnt so close to the top of travel or what ever its called when the clutch is fully released.

Where the clutch cable comes through the firewall in the engine bay there is a tube with a nut against it thats on the outer of the clutch cable, turn the nut to where you prefer the pick up point.

Turn the nut to the right to raise the release point, and to the left to lower it closer to the floor/firewall.

OR f**k around with it for half an hour trying to find a sweet spot, so that you can change gear normally, only to realise your clutch is to worn and needs replaced...still havent got mine done yet...dont wanna spend the money!
